DISCOVER FLIGHT
Zone 1 introduces students to the fundamentals of helicopter flight through interactive, hands-on STEM experiences. From lift and torque demonstrations to tools, avionics, safety gear, and engineering challenges, students discover how physics makes rotary flight possible.
MISSIONS OF VERTICAL LIFT
Zone 2 immerses students in the real-world missions of vertical aviation, from firefighting and air medical to utility, agriculture, and law enforcement. Through interactive storytelling and future-focused technology like drones and robotics, students discover how aviation serves communities today—and where it’s headed tomorrow.
EXPERIENCE & MEDIA
Zone 3 is an immersive, high-energy space where students capture their experience, step into the pilot’s seat, and see themselves in aviation. From simulators and static aircraft to media booths and creative stations, this zone builds confidence, visibility, and lasting inspiration.
Mission
Helo Girls Lift Day™ is an annual celebration dedicated to inspiring children to rise in aviation, STEM, and leadership — while encouraging all students to lift, support, and learn together. Founded by decorated U.S. Army aviator and children’s author Dr. Kodey Bogart and partner with Vertical Aviation International (VAI), Helo Girls Lift Day recognizes that lift is more than a force of flight — it is the power of confidence, courage, and community.
Through storytelling, hands-on STEM exploration, and real-world aviation role models, Helo Girls Lift Day empowers girls to see themselves in the cockpit, the laboratory, and the leadership seat — and invites boys to stand beside them as allies in curiosity and innovation.
Because when one rises, we all rise.
