The mission is growing—and it’s gaining altitude. From national industry stages to elementary classrooms, Helo Girls is continuing to bridge the gap between aviation and early education in meaningful, lasting ways. This season has been a powerful reminder: when young minds are introduced to aviation through hands-on STEAM experiences, we’re not just teaching lessons—we’re shaping futures.

✨ VertiCon Recap & What’s Ahead


VertiCon 2026 in Atlanta was an incredible opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue advocating for the future of vertical aviation. Being part of these conversations reinforces how important it is to create pathways for the next generation—especially starting early.


A sincere thank you to Airbus Helicopters for the opportunity to participate in the panel and for hosting the Helo Girls book signing. It was an honor to share the mission on such a meaningful platform and connect with so many individuals who are passionate about the future of our industry.


We’re also excited to share that Helo Girls Lift Day™ is in the works in partnership with Vertical Aviation International (VAI) and coming to VertiCon 2027. This initiative is intentionally designed to create a space where families with young children can step into an immersive aviation experience together. Through hands-on activities and up-close exposure to vertical lift, we’re making aviation approachable, engaging, and inspiring to LIFT even our youngest future aviators.


Parents and educators can also download the FREE Helo Girls LIFT Pledge to help reinforce the mission of inspiring, supporting, and committing to aviation education and exposure for the next generation.

💙 Helo Girls® Foundation, Inc.


The Helo Girls Foundation, Inc. is a newly established non-profit organization centered on one core mission: delivering impactful STEAM-based aviation education to young learners.


Our focus is on creating and distributing engaging lesson plans, supporting educators, and expanding access to aviation-themed curriculum that aligns with early education standards. By integrating aviation into classrooms through science, technology, engineering, art, and math, we are helping students build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills at an early age.


This is about reach, access, and exposure—ensuring more students can see themselves in aviation before they even realize it’s a career path.

🌙 STEAM Spotlight: Navigating the Night (NVG Lesson)


We’re excited to highlight one of our most engaging lessons: “Navigating the Night: Seeing in the Dark.”


Designed for Kindergarten through 3rd grade, this hands-on STEAM lesson introduces students to how Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) help pilots see and fly safely after dark—sparking imagination while building real-world understanding.


Through interactive activities, students explore how light works, learn the anatomy of the eye, build their own model “night vision goggles,” and complete a nighttime mission. The lesson seamlessly connects aviation concepts with foundational science principles, encouraging problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.


Best of all, this lesson is available FREE on our website—making it easy for educators, parents, and organizations to bring aviation into their learning environments.

🎨 Helo Girls Coloring Pages


Parents and educators can now download FREE Helo Girls coloring pages to extend learning beyond the classroom and into the home. These pages are designed to spark creativity, reinforce aviation themes, and keep young learners engaged while exploring the world of vertical lift in a fun and approachable way.

☀️ Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo


We’re looking forward to being part of the upcoming Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo—an incredible platform to connect with the aviation community and share the Helo Girls' mission.


We’ll be engaging with families, educators, and young learners, continuing to expand awareness around aviation-focused STEAM education. (Be sure to check out the official press release for more details!)
